Tyson Fury next fight: Derek Chisora eyes trilogy amid feud

Derek Chisora has revealed that he’s open to fighting Tyson Fury again following their recent war of words.

It’s been an interesting few years for Derek Chisora and Tyson Fury with the two heavyweight boxing stars going in very different directions. Chisora recently bounced back from a three-fight losing streak by defeating Kubrat Pulev, whereas Fury has decided to ride off into the sunset and retire after knocking out Dillian Whyte at Wembley.

Prior to that bout, Derek Chisora actually predicted that Whyte would be the one to hand Fury his first defeat as a professional boxer. Tyson wasn’t particularly happy with such a prediction and hit out at Whyte who, in recent times, had actually become a friend of ‘The Gypsy King’.

The two men have met twice previously in a pro setting but Fury seemed to be quite hurt by Chisora picking against him.

Now, in a recent interview, ‘Del Boy’ noted that he’d be open to the idea of taking on Fury inside the squared circle for the third time.

“Listen, Frank Warren and the ‘Gypsy King’s posse, just tell me when and where or what time and I am there. I just want to fight. If you are a fighter, you should fight everybody out there. 

“It is just business. It would be a great fight with Tyson. I have respect for Tyson and his family, but if he wants to fight…. and if he doesn’t, I want to fight Deontay Wilder.”

The first fight between Derek Chisora and Tyson Fury happened in July 2011 when, in front of a packed out crowd at Wembley Arena, Fury was able to defeat Chisora via unanimous decision – becoming the first man to beat Derek as a pro in the process.

It took three years for them to collide once again at the ExCeL in London and this time around, Chisora retired on the stool with Fury
