Derby County make another signing from Man City as Liam Rosenior makes Premier League claim

Derby County have completed the signing of former Manchester City defender Kwaku Oduroh as the Rams made their 10th signing of the summer.

The right-back, who can also play as a holding midfielder, has signed a two-year contract at Pride Park having impressed on trial in the club's pre-season win over Bradford City last weekend.

Oduroh arrives on a free transfer after being released this summer by Manchester City where he captained their under-18s side to the Premier League National title.

Derby County interim boss Liam Rosenior revealed how Kwaku Oduroh had interest from Premier League teams but chose Derby County to continue his development.

The right-back became the club's 10th summer signing as he put pen to paper on a two-year deal following his exit from Manchester City. Oduroh has joined the club on a free transfer after confirming his departure from Manchester City where the 19-year-old has spent the last 14 years.

He will immediately go into the Rams' first-team squad having impressed during the first half of their 2-0 win against Bradford City last weekend after which Rosenior hailed his performance. The Rams' interim boss revealed there were other teams circling the teenager and feels his education at City fits perfectly at how he wants Derby to play next season.
