Delays as M4 and A465 are shut in one or both directions due to overrunning roadworks - live updates

There are delays after two major roads remain closed in one or both directions due to overrunning roadworks.

The M4 eastbound carriageway in Newport is currently closed between Junction 26 A4051 (Malpas Road) and Junction 25 B4596 (Caerleon). There are queues up to Junction 27 Highcross, according to traffic monitoring service Inrix.

Meanwhile, the A465 Heads Of The Valleys Road is also shut both directions due to roadworks between A470 (Cefn Coed Roundabout) and High Street (Dowlais Top Roundabout).
