Cristian Romero delivered one of his best performances in a Tottenham shirt on Sunday afternoon as they got back on track with a 3-1 victory over Leicester City. Making his mark in N17 since his summer switch from Italian side Atalanta, the Argentina international came out of the game with plenty of praise following a towering performance.

The 24-year-old was sensational across the 90 minutes and produced a number of timely tackles, blocks and interceptions to help out his team, as well as also pushing on regularly to give his Tottenham teammates another option in the final third. Romero also had a major impact in the team's second goal of the afternoon, making a crunching tackle on Caglar Soyuncu that allowed Dejan Kulusevski to tee up Son Heung-min to give Spurs a bit of breathing space.
