Defiant Ruben Dias explains how Man City dressing room reacted at Liverpool amid legacy claim

Manchester City's squad of 'winners' are determined to put things right after they slumped to another defeat in their faltering Premier League title defence.

City's reverse at Liverpool is their fourth loss in a row in the Premier League, slipping to fifth in the table, 11 points off the top. It is six defeats and a draw in all competitions and City are in freefall. Pep Guardiola insists City will break their run soon and reset, a view echoed by one of his captains.

Ruben Dias returned from injury at Anfield and couldn't prevent another reverse but he offered a positive view on City's prospects, declaring a dressing room 'full of winners' are made for turning their form around and proving doubters wrong.

"It is obviously not the easiest period but we're made for this," he told Sky Sports at Anfield. "This has always been a tough place to come, and even more now in our circumstances. I am seeing through it and I saw a lot of character today and that is something that gives me a good feeling for what is ahead.

"Winning is all about that. We have a lot of winners in our dressing room. In times like this it is all about mentality and keep on going and pushing and thinking one game at a time. Nottingham Forest [on Wednesday] is all that is on our mind and we want to win and that is how you break it. Today I saw little things that will help us move forward."
