Decide who Man City should keep and sell in the summer transfer window

While the red half of Manchester looks as though it's in for another summer of hectic change, things will likely be much calmer at Manchester City.

That's not to say it won't be exciting, though. The only position City really need to strengthen this year is a striker to finally replace Sergio Aguero and if they manage to pull off the signing of Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund, who they currently look the frontrunners for, then there will be much cause for celebration at the Etihad.

City are already the dominant force in English football at present, having won four of the last five Premier League titles, and adding Haaland to an already sensational squad would be akin to deploying a cheat code. Whereas Manchester United look like they need to make at least three big signings, City need just the one. Evolution, not revolution.

That, of course, could change slightly if there are any unexpected departures but there doesn't seem to be much agitation from anyone in the squad. Even Bernardo Silva looks to be loving life again at the Blues after admitting he wanted to leave last summer.

Though Raheem Sterling's future remains uncertain with his contract set to expire in 2023, the only likely departures this summer appear to be Fernandinho and Scott Carson whose deals both end at the end of the season. But they could well be handed new deals yet.

So it doesn't seem that there will be a great amount of movement out of the club but the window is still a couple of months away and that is a long time in football. A lot could change before then.
