"DEALS!": Body cam footage shows moment dealer's flat is raided by cops after CLEO drugs line busted

Police body-cam footage captured the moment cops smashed a woman's county lines drugs operation.

Handbag-loving Sophia McAllister, 25, ran the slick supply operation - which she named 'CLEO' - from her flat on the Broomwood estate in Timperley, using a mobile phone to send bulk messages to thousands of potential customers. An undercover police investigation found more than 10,000 calls and texts went through the hotline in just four months.

After McAllister was jailed, police released body-cam footage of the moment officers raided her flat and smashed the county lines drug racket.

The footage shows cops using a 'wham-ram' to smash down her front door, revealing McAllister holding her hands above her head as she is arrested. On one wall, a display shelf shows off a series of what appear to be designer handbags. Cops also found crack cocaine and heroin in the kitchen.

McAllister ran the class A drugs hotline for at least four months. Police found that from April to August 2023, 3,500 text messages were sent and 2,300 were received.

Almost 2,500 calls were made from the hotline, while 6,500 were incoming. Among the messages on the busy line were promotional texts to potential customers which read 'CLEO! FIRE! ON! DEALS! ABOUT ALL DAY!!!!!!'.

They were sent as bulk messages during a small time-window to advertise the drugs line was active, Greater Manchester Police said. Follow-up messages saying 'yh' and 'u about' were then sent from the phone.
