West Ham United have appointed Mark Warburton as a new assistant coach to David Moyes.
After Stuart Pearce stood down from his coaching role on Moyes’ bench last month, West Ham have been looking for another assistant to manager Moyes. They have now added the experience of Warburton to their staff.
The 59-year-old has previously managed Brentford, Rangers, Nottingham Forest and Queens Park Rangers. Under his management, QPR finished 11th in the Championship last season.
They announced in April that he would be leaving at the end of the campaign. Now, he will continue his career as an assistant to Moyes.

“It’s a huge privilege to be joining West Ham United to work as part of David Moyes’ backroom staff,” he told their club website.
“West Ham have made incredible progress in recent seasons, continually making forward strides to move the club in a positive direction.
“I am excited about coming in and adding my own experience and know-how to what is an incredibly strong coaching
