David De Gea makes Manchester United feelings clear after summer exit

Former Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea has shown his continued support for Manchester United by keeping an eye on the club’s women’s team.

The Spaniard left Old Trafford on a free transfer at the end of his contract back in the summer and is yet to find a new club. He has been keeping himself fit by training with his own coaches as he searches for a new club.

Clips shared last week showed the goalkeeper training in his old United training kit, something that went down well with fans. He has now continued to show his connection to United with his latest post on social media.

The score was locked at 0-0 going into added time in the first half, but Ella Toone’s strike in the third minute of added time did give United a deserved lead before the break, with Rachel Williams adding a second goal just after half time with Lucia Garcia making it 3-0. If the score stays the same then it will be the first FA Cup victory for Man United women.

The Spaniard previously watched United Women’s team's first-ever Champions League game against Paris Saint-Germain in October from the stands. The match vs PSG ended 1-1 after Melvine Malard equalised in the second half for United following Tabitha Chawinga's opener for the visitors.
