David Beckham takes mum Sandra for day out in Wimbledon as pair enjoy Centre Court Royal Box seats

England star David Beckham treated his mum to the the best seat in Wimbledon and was one of the famous faces spotted on the tournament's third day. The former Manchester United talisman Beckham, 48, was spotted seated in the prestigious Centre Court Royal Box alongside NHS guests as the organization celebrated its 75th anniversary.

Dressed in a stylish beige suit jacket and a brown patterned tie, Beckham was accompanied by his mother Sandra in the executive seating area. Adventurer Grylls was also in attendance, appearing alongside his wife. Sporting a moustache and a smart black suit paired with a green tie, Grylls sat next to his wife Shara, who wore a lovely blue dress with matching dangling earrings. Writer and broadcaster Lord Melvyn Bragg was captured alongside his wife Gabriel Clare-Hunt, who donned an eye-catching bright pink dress with a scalloped hem.

Professional golfer Luke Donald, set to be Europe's Ryder Cup captain in 2023, was also photographed at the event, looking dapper in a crisp suit. Positioned near Beckham, Donald showcased various shades of blue and later sported his sunglasses.

While spectators sought shelter from the rain, a group of Just Stop Oil protesters caused disruption by throwing orange-coloured confetti and jigsaw pieces onto court 18. Several arrests were made in relation to the incident.

On Centre Court, Jodie Burrage, the British number two, began proceedings but was defeated by Daria Kasatkina in the second round of the ladies' singles. Following this match, Iga Swiatek faced off against Sara Sorribes Tormo, while men's world number one player Novak Djokovic was scheduled to compete against Australia's Jordan Thompson.
