Dave King returns to Rangers alongside two club legends as fans lap up former chief's quiet Ibrox appearance

Former chairman Dave King was back at Ibrox on Tuesday night - and in good company too as he took in Allan McGregor's testimonial.

King stepped down as chairman in 2020 and has had a frosty relationship with the club at times since. He was frequently at odds Douglas Park, who replaced him as chairman, but his successor left the club earlier this year. And King was back at his old Rangers stomping ground, pictured alongside legends Alex McLeish and Richard Gough in a snap shared to Gough's Instagram.

They were also in the company of golf royalty as legendary golfer Gary Player, a friend of King's, made an appearance. Gough wrote: "A few well known faces in this picture at last night's game against Newcastle," and fans lapped up the cameo from King. One replied: "Welcome back Dave King," while another wrote: "Brilliant photo full of legends."
