Darwin Nunez's performance during Liverpool 2-0 Palace mocked by fan

Liverpool got back to winning ways on Friday afternoon.

After suffering a 4-0 defeat against rivals Manchester United in their first pre-season friendly, the Reds picked up a 2-0 victory over fellow Premier League side Crystal Palace.

A first half goal from club captain Jordan Henderson and a strike from Mohamed Salah just after the break secured a fairly comfortable win at the Singapore National Stadium.

Like he did against United a few days ago, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp made a plethora of substitutions throughout the 90 minutes of play – 20 to be exact.

One of the many after the half-time interval saw mega-money signing Darwin Nunez enter the fray in search of his first goal since arriving from Benfica.

Sadly for Liverpool fans, the young Uruguayan was unable to get on the scoresheet and in truth, he looked a bit lost in his attempt to lead the line versus Palace.

Nunez is still trying to get up to speed with Liverpool’s style of play and form a connection with those around him.

However, in the modern world, fans on social media do not care one bit about a player’s adaptation period and seek to mock them at the first opportunity available.

That’s exactly what one Twitter user has done in the hours after Liverpool’s win over Palace in Singapore.

They’ve created a short compilation of Nunez’s ‘highlights’ from the match, which you can watch below.

At this rate Darwin Nunez gonna make Romelu Lukaku look like prime Fernando Torres
