Darren Moore must roll the dice with Josh Windass to save Sheffield Wednesday's season
Sheffield Wednesday are playing catch-up in their League One play-off semi-final against Sunderland. The Black Cats will head to Hillsborough for the second leg on Monday with one-goal lead after Ross Stewart punished a Sam Hutchinson mistake on the stroke of half-time. It was Stewart's 25th goal of the season and his fourth against Wednesday.
The Owls were under cosh for long periods in front of a hostile crowd of 44,742 - a record English Football League play-off attendance at any level. Sunderland missed a string of chances in the second half to increase their advantage.

It appeared Wednesday set up to try to contain Sunderland and play on the counter attack. Did they get the balance right between attack and defence? No, they struggled to impose their will until the final 25 minutes.
Eyebrows were raised over Moore selecting Liam Palmer at right wing back instead of Jack Hunt. Some questioned the decision and felt it was a conservative pick.
"Palms [Liam Palmer] came in because we felt that, in terms of where they were at with set plays and everything else, we needed him to come in as a marker," explained Moore. "He brings a bit more height and physicality.
"It worked out well in terms of the wide players that they had, and with him being a natural full-back - it’s water off duck’s back for him.
"Hunty was unfortunate to miss out, but that’s where we are at this stage of the season. We look at games in isolated situations, and try to pick the team that we think will get
