Dara O'Shea tells Adam Idah he 'loves' Celtic transfer as frenzied Hoops fans declare 'you're next'

Dara O'Shea has sparked a social media frenzy amongst the Celtic support after his three word message to Adam Idah.

Brendan Rodgers made it clear at the end of last season that he wanted the striker back in Glasgow after the huge success of his loan period from Norwich City. It's been a long running transfer saga this summer but the Scottish champions have finally landed their man in a blockbuster £9.5million deal with the Republic of Ireland international putting pen to paper for the next five years.

A number of ins and outs are still expected at Parkhead over the next fortnight before the summer window slams shut and Record Sport revealed back in July that O'Shea was one that Celtic were keen to land. They have made the perfect start with two wins from two in the Scottish Premiership as they look to defend their title while Champions League football also heads for Glasgow's east end with the biggest names and clubs in Europe set to face Rodgers and Co once again in the coming months

Idah took to social media after his move to Celtic was confirmed to tell the Hoops faithful: "Honey… I’m home. Can’t wait to see you all soon." His post caught the eye of his international colleague who replied: "Love it bud."

The reply hasn't gone unnoticed by the fans who all fired the same message to the defender - who scored in Burnley's season opener against Luton Town. One wrote: "You're next big man. Mon up the road," and another posted: "You next son." Another punter wrote: "Let's be having you also," while one more added: "Your next Dara."
