Daniel Sturridge messages Naby Keita after Liverpool 2-0 Everton
Daniel Sturridge has messaged Naby Keita after the Liverpool midfielder was seen inadvertently copying his signature dance move during Sunday’s 2-0 win over Everton at Anfield.
An image of Keita in Sturridge’s pose went viral on social media over the weekend.
The Guinea international raised his arms to protest his innocence as Everton’s Anthony Gordon went to ground inside the Liverpool box.
Referee Stuart Attwell saw that Gordon had dived, however, and showed a yellow card to the 21-year-old.
While attempting to avoid making contact with Gordon, Keita did ‘the Sturridge’.

Others on social media were quick to make the same observation:
And now Sturridge himself has joined in on the fun.
“There’s never a wrong time to drop this move,” the former England international said on his Instagram story, tagging in Keita.
