Liverpool are closing in on the signing of Luis Diaz from Porto.

The Reds made their move late in the January transfer window to secure a £49m deal for the Colombia international.

Liverpool look to have beaten Tottenham Hotspur to the signing of Diaz, who were heavily linked with the winger before the Reds stepped in.

Spurs were said to think they were well down the road over a deal to sign Diaz, only for Liverpool to swoop in at the eleventh hour.
