Dad left 'distraught' after popping home for 10 minutes during Storm Darragh
A dad from Liverpool has been left 'distraught' after a tree fell on his taxi during Storm Darragh. Garry Gregory, 40 from Huyton, had been home for 10 minutes after finishing an airport run.
The father-of-two heard a bang at around 2pm this afternoon (December 7) when he discovered that a tree had fallen on his taxi outside his home on Cromford Road.
Photos sent by Mr Gregory to the Liverpool Echo shows the extent of the damage caused by the tree. The roof of the taxi collapsed and the back window had smashed as a result of the tree falling.

I had been out on an airport run and came back to the house for literally 10 minutes. I was about to go back out and heard a big bang and saw the tree on top of my taxi.
"I was hoping to be out on the taxis tonight but I don't know when I will be back on the road now. I can't believe this has happened."
