Cyriel Dessers pays for Rangers fans' haircuts as grateful punters ask for one more thing this season

It's not often Cyriel Dessers has proven himself a cut above the others on the park.

But the Rangers striker showed he's a thoroughly decent guy off it after paying for fans' haircuts. Dessers was in Glasgow's EX Studio for a fresh trim and got talking to fellow punters who were in for their own haircuts. And when they finished, Dessers insisted he would take care of it for them and cover their bill. The punters showed their appreciation as they left, with Dessers only too happy to put his hands in his pocket, but urged them to use their own money to have a good time.

He told staff in the hairdressers during his own cut: "Hey dude, I'll take care of it for these guys. Sure yeah, for Rangers fans - for young Rangers fans. Enjoy. Do something fun with it though. It's no problem, I got you. You guys have a nice day."

But there was one more request from the grateful supporters as they told Dessers: "Score against Celtic this season." He smiled and replied: "That's it bro."
