Crysencio Summerville drops cryptic Instagram post after Bielsa reveal at Leeds

Crysencio Summerville has taken to Instagram to post his celebration from last night’s under 23s victory where he scored and celebrated with his fingers in his ears.

The Dutch winger reportedly wanted to leave the club last month in search of first-team football but any move was blocked by the club, down to the fact that they could or would not want to bring in someone to replace him on a temporary basis.

Marcelo Bielsa gave his side of events during yesterday’s press conference saying that Summerville did ask him if he could leave the club, with the Argentine confirming that he would have let him leave but it was up to the club.

Bielsa didn’t stop there though as he went on to say that ‘anyone who doesn’t want to be here is sufficient enough’ to get them moved on and with Summerville, the name that’s public knowledge in terms of wanting to leave it appears that the winger may have taken the comments personally.

Summerville scored during the under 23s victory against Liverpool last night and is not set to be involved with the first team this week according to Phil Hay, which has seen the winger post his celebration of seemingly blocking out any noise by putting his fingers in his ears.

TIF Thoughts on Summerville’s situation…

While it makes sense from both Leeds and Bielsa’s point of view as the club wanted to keep him as he’s under contract and given how many injuries they’ve sustained this season, the winner may well be needed in the reisnder of the season, but also Bielsa will not want any players within his squad if he knows they don’t truly want to be there.
