Cristiano Ronaldo: Man Utd star walks down tunnel before final whistle v Tottenham

Cristiano Ronaldo walked down the tunnel before the end of the game in Manchester United’s win over Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday evening.

United won 2-0 in the Premier League clash at Old Trafford.

Fred gave United a deserving lead in the 47th minute.

Jadon Sancho teed up the Brazilian outside the box and his effort found the back of the net via a heavy deflection.

Bruno Fernandes then doubled his side's lead in the 69th minute.

The Portuguese found space inside the box and curled his effort past Hugo Lloris and into the top corner.

There were no further goals as United clinched a vital three points.

After starting against Newcastle, Ronaldo was relegated to the bench once more against Tottenham.

Erik ten Hag decided against using Ronaldo and instead subbed on Christian Eriksen, Anthony Elanga and Scott McTominay.

And the 37-year-old decided he had had enough and walked down the tunnel before the match had ended.

Ronaldo could be seen going back into the dressing room in the 89th minute and you can view some footage below...
