Cristiano Ronaldo: Man Utd star blanks Jamie Carragher before Liverpool game
Cristiano Ronaldo was in no mood to speak to Jamie Carragher ahead of Manchester United’s Premier League meeting with Liverpool on the Monday Night Football.
The Portuguese superstar was named on the bench by manager for Erik ten Hag for the fixture after his dismal display in the 4-0 defeat to Brentford.
Ronaldo has made it clear that he wants to exit United this summer to play Champions League football and he may leave the club before the end of the transfer deadline.
But despite the fact he wasn’t selected to play from the start at Old Trafford, the 37-year-old still chose to interrupt Sky Sports’ build-up to the match from the touchline.
While the teams were warming up for the crunch fixture, Ronaldo popped over to say hello to his former United colleagues Gary Neville and Roy Keane.
And at the same time, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner completely ignored Carragher, who was standing in the middle of the Red Devils legends.
Check out footage of the rather hilarious incident live on air…
