Cristiano Ronaldo: Man Utd star pranks Rio Ferdinand before Southampton game
Cristiano Ronaldo is not playing as much as he would want to be at the moment.
The Portuguese forward returned to United’s pre-season late and consequently was only on the bench for their opening game of the season against Brighton.
He was named in the starting lineup against Brentford but failed to make an impact as United lost 4-0.
Ronaldo returned to the bench against Liverpool and was not in the starting lineup once again in the Red Devils’ match against Southampton on Saturday afternoon.
There have been a lot of reports in the past few months that Ronaldo is unhappy at United and wants to leave.

But he didn’t look like an unhappy man in the warm-up before their match against Southampton.
Ronaldo spotted his former teammate, Rio Ferdinand, who was working as a pundit on BT Sport, on the pitch.
Ronaldo decided he was going to have a little but of fun.
He picked up a waterbottle and sprayed water at his former teammate’s feet.
Ronaldo then ran away with a beaming smile on his face. Ferdinand was left complaining about his wet suede shoes. Watch the moment below…
