Crash caused congestion on major Cardiff route
A crash caused significant congestion on a busy Cardiff route this morning.
At around 10.33am this morning (Thursday, October 5), South Wales Police confirmed it was at the scene of a collision on the southbound carriageway of the A4232 between Culverhouse Cross and Leckwith in the city.
According to the force at the time the road was still open, but traffic was congested in both directions and delays could be expected. Traffic monitoring service, Inrix, said there was congestion to Leckwith Interchange and suggested a motorbike might be involved in the incident. Motorists and road users were warned to find alternative routes where possible.
