Crash blocks part of M4 causing tailbacks near Swansea

A section of the M4 is blocked due to a crash. Traffic on the M4 Westbound is slow as a result, with a travel time of around 20 minutes.

Both lanes are closed due to an incident near junction 45 for the A4067 (Ynysforgan). Cameras show that traffic is still getting past on the hard shoulder.

The incident was first reported on traffic reporting service Inrix at 4.29pm. Traffic Wales advised: "Please plan ahead to avoid delays due to congestion."

Emergency services have been contacted for further information.
