Coventry City transfer stance emerges amid Burnley interest in 24-year-old

The Callum O’Hare transfer saga has been bubbling away for a few weeks now and the chances of the 24-year-old being available for Coventry City when the season kicks off are gradually increasing as things drag on.

Burnley have seemed to be the club closest to luring O’Hare away from the CBS Arena and there does appear to be an acceptance from the Sky Blues, that the Clarets have the financial means to complete the signing.

The Athletic revealed this morning that Coventry are hoping to receive over £6 million for the services of O’Hare.

The article stated: “Burnley have not given in and the two clubs have held verbal discussions since.

“There is a belief among all parties a deal can be done, but only if it meets Coventry’s valuation, thought to be above £6 million.”

Robins will still have a lot of attacking options at his disposal going
