Coutinho just proved he's back by tearing through Leeds with classy goal and two assists

Philippe Coutinho has wasted no time at all to announce his return to the Premier League.

Having wriggled free from his Barcelona nightmare with an Aston Villa loan move in January, the Brazilian has made it his mission to remind the world why he is one of the most expensive players in history.

Coutinho played a pivotal role in Villa’s comeback against Manchester United on his second Premier League debut, but he outdid himself with a rapid start to the Leeds United clash this week.

With Marcelo Biesla’s men having taken the lead through Daniel James in the first-half, Coutinho put his foot down and provided a superb goal and two assists to completely flip the game on its head.

The former Liverpool wizard fired the Villans level with a measured finish in the penalty area after a beautiful first touch, before turning provider for Jacob Ramsey with a pass that Steven Gerrard would have been proud of.

Oh, and then he decided that one assist for Ramsey wasn’t enough as the Brazil international once again paved the way for Villa’s young start to score and truly send his first-half performance into the stratosphere.

So, be sure to do yourself a favour and check out Coutinho’s astonishing start to the game down below:

One touch… BANG!
