COURT REPORT: Bublik's underarm serve addiction and security scrap

It was another busy day at Wimbledon, with plenty of notable events on and off the court. 

From a courtside security guard scrap to Alexander Bublik's underarm serving, there were a number of interesting talking points.

KAZAK'S MAD MOVE

It seems Alexander Bublik's penchant for underarm serves has turned into a full-blown addiction requiring urgent intervention from friends and family. 

During his defeat by Frances Tiafoe, the Kazak served six in one game. Only two went in the court and he won just one of those points.

SECURITY SCRAP SHOCK 

What happens when the guys who are meant to stop the fights start fighting? Eyewitnesses reported an incredible incident outside Court 2 of a scrap between two security guards. 

Colleagues failed to break it up, leading one bystander to cry: 'Someone call security' — to which the reply came: 'They are security!' The Met Police are investigating. 

JAMIE AND VENUS OFF TO A FLIER

Court 1 ticketholders were treated to an unexpected bonus when Venus Williams and Jamie Murray had their first mixed doubles match together added to the schedule. 

The starry pair - with 23 doubles Slams between them - came through 6-3, 6-7, 6-3 against Michael Venus of New Zealand and Poland's Alicja Rosolska. 

WHEELCHAIR DOPING BAN 

A major scandal in wheelchair tennis on Friday when France's Stephane Houdet, who has five Grand Slams in singles and 19 in doubles - as well as three Paralympic doubles golds - was banned for 15 months for three missed anti-doping tests in a one-year period.
