Corrie star Alexandra Mardell feels the love as she's joined by co-stars at her leaving do

She's leaving the soap after four years playing bubbly Emma Brooker, and Corrie star Alexandra Mardell was shown how much she'll be missed as she partied with her co-stars.

Alexandra said she had 'face ache' from smiling and left with hardly any photos after saying a fond 'ta-ra for now!' to the cobbles.

Guests at her star-studded leaving do included Coronation Street favourites Simon Gregson, who plays her on-screen dad Steve McDonald, Elle Mulvaney, who plays her half-sister Amy Barlow and Colson Smith, who plays her flatmate Craig Tinker.

"Face ache from smiling and hardly any photos are a sign of a fab night! Can we do it again?" wrote Alexandra as she shared photos from the night on her Instagram.
