Russell Wilson's not the first star to leave team which made him household name

Wilson, who spent ten seasons with the Seahawks, gives the Broncos the talent under center they have sought since Peyton Manning retired. Meanwhile, Seattle will look to the future with a package of quarterback Drew Lock, tight end Noah Fant, defensive lineman Shelby Harris and multiple draft picks.

According to ESPN Stats & Information, Wilson will become the first quarterback to start for a team he beat in a Super Bowl (Super Bowl XLVIII). Speaking of Super Bowls, with the trade, the Broncos moved from 25-1 to 14-1 odds to win Super Bowl LVII at Caesars Sportsbook.

Let's look at other sports stars who rocked the sports world when they left the team they had been with for 10 seasons or more.

Twenty years is quite the commitment. Just ask Tom Brady, who was drafted by the New England Patriots in 2000 and went on to spend 20 straight seasons with the team.
