Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd says 'I'm not doing it' in wedding debacle as fiancée shares sweet Valentine's
Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd has been speaking about some of the things that have surprised him about planning a wedding while his fiancée paid a sweet tribute.
The couple announced back in June that they were set to tie the knot after actor had popped the question to his long-term girlfriend Hanni while on a safari holiday in Tanzania. They had been regularly updating social media with the magnificent animals they had spotted on safari before moving on to Zanzibar.
Once their incredible trip came to an end, Hanni revealed Jack, who is famed for playing David Platt in the ITV soap, had popped the question - and she said 'yes!'
It was then in October that Jack and Hanni revealed that they'd set a date for their special day and shared a look at their gorgeous 'save the dates' that will be sent out to their nearest and dearest. "26th July 2025 we become Mr & Mrs Shepherd!!" she shared.
And on Friday (February 14), Hanni shared the latest countdown. Taking to her Instagram Story, she shared a picture of her holding a Valentine's Card in front of a beautiful bouquet of flowers. The front of the card read: "Roses are red, Violets are blue, 162 days until we says 'I Do'. Happy Valentine's Day." Hanni then added to her post: "Happy Valentine's Day baby @jackpshepherd."
It comes as Jack has given an update on the wedding planning while chatting to his Corrie co-stars on their podcast. He co-hosts 'On The Sofa' with soap pals Ben Price and Colson Smith, who play Weatherfield's Nick Tilsley and Craig Tinker.
In the latest episode, Jack is heard saying: "We have actually had the first argument of the wedding. So everything before this, it’s been, 'We’re agreeing on everything.'" But that seemingly all changed when it came
