Coronation Street star Stephanie Davis announces 'meet the new member of our family' and shares sweet moment

Coronation Street star Stephanie Davis has revealed she's expanded her family and shared the sweet moment her son discovered the news. The actress took to social media to reveal that she has added another puppy to her home, much to the delight of son Caben.

Stephanie, who recently joined the ITV soap as Courtney Vance, took to Instagram on Friday (August 4) to share the news that she and her boyfriend Joseph Mckalroy had picked up their new pet dog.

"Won wants to meet the new addition to our family..." the soap star typed across a picture of some pretty white flowers in a post on her Instagram Story. She then added: "Meet..." over the same backdrop before sharing a picture of the adorable pet pooch and confirming: "Hallie," alongside a white love heart.

She then went on to share the moment she told Caben that they were getting a new dog. The youngster was seen in the back of the car as his mum was heard saying to him: "Where do you think we're going?" to which he replied: "For lunch."

But Stephanie, 30, then continued; "What if I told you that you can have a new puppy." Caben gasped before wriggling with excitement and shouting with excitement. "You can have a little puppy... we're going to buy you one," his mum then added as he continued to move and make noises in complete glee.

The former Hollyoaks star then went on to share a video of Caben and Hallie together as well as their other adored dog, Sandy "She was very excited to have a little sister and then has just not stopped giving her kisses."
