Coronation Street star Georgia Taylor shared a simple reaction to her co-star's exit as her latest on-screen relationship came to an end. Viewers of the ITV soap were recently transported back to the nineties as they watched Toyah Habeeb and Spider Nugent rekindle their relationship.

Following the shocking death of Toyah's husband Imran, the councillor spiralled as she admitted to crashing the car they were driving in before he collapsed and died after saving her. And in June last year, it was Toyah who first came face-to-face with Emily Bishop's eco-warrior nephew during his return to Weatherfield as he got involved in her protest.

However, it later transpired that he was in the area as an undercover cop to infiltrate the extremist gang led by Griff Reynolds who groomed local teen Max Turner. And it wasn't long before he rekindled his relationship with Toyah and the pair were just last week seen getting engaged.

But once again, their romance came to an end. There were dramatic scenes at the start of the week in the ITV soap as the former eco-warrior-turned-undercover cop came to his new fiancee's rescue after she was kidnapped in revenge for a previous job.

Toyah was kidnapped by Maggie, a woman with a grievance against Spider after she pretended to be Spider's wife in order to get herself in the flat where Toyah is living with sister Leanne Battersby, her partner Nick Tilsely and his son, Sam.
