Coronation Street spoiler videos: Police take Bernie in, body found and Stephen moves in

There's plenty of police action in Coronation Street week but the big question is, is the net finally closing in on Stephen Reid? First off though it's Bernie Winter who finds herself at the police station.

The week kicks off Paul Foreman and Billy Mayhews stage do and when they arrive at the Bistro. for the celebrations, Billy’s taken aback by all the glitter and the rainbows but Paul loves it. It doesn't take long for Gemma Winter-Brown to kick off the drinking games and Billy starts to relax.

But as the celebrations get underway, the police call at No.7, just as Bernie Winter and Dev Alahan settle down and relax in their dressing gowns, telling Bernie that they’d like her to answer some questions regarding a potential fraud investigation involving Shelly Rothington.

At the station, Bernie makes out she’s simply helping a young woman with MND by collecting a few parcels for her. But the police have a shock revelation for Bernie, telling her that Shelley has died, and the news leaves Paul reeling.

Elswhere, Ed Bailey struggles when Neil, his and his brother Ronnie's site manager of their new development project, suggests they bet on when the digger will turn up., not knowing about Ed's past gambling troubles. Then later in the Rovers, the lads gather to watch the match. When Neil suggests they have a flutter, Ed’s sorely tempted.

But he's the one left apologising to Neil for snapping at him, explaining that he used to be a gambling addict. In the solicitors’ office, daughter Dee-Dee gets Ronnie to sign some forms and points out he’s taking a risk starting work on the site before completion of the purchase.
