Coronation Street star Channique Sterling-Brown sent the same two-word message as she's left 'blown away'

Coronation Street star Channique Sterling-Brown has repeatedly been given the same two-word statement in comments from fans after admitting to being left 'blown away'. The ITV soap actress was among the cast who headed down to the capital earlier this week for the Inside Soap Awards 2023.

They joined stars from the likes of Emmerdale, EastEnders and Hollyoaks with EastEnders dominating at the latest awards ceremony, taking home six gongs out of a possible 15 – including the award for best soap.

But Corrie's Dame Maureen Lipman was awarded best comic performance, which was previously announced, for her role as Evelyn Plummer; best newcomer was awarded to the show's Channique, who plays solicitor Dee-Dee Bailey and the best showstopper, for a showcase stunt or episode, was awarded for the acid attack story which aired earlier this year and involved actors Charlotte Jordan, Ryan Prescott and Andrew Still.

As well as the winners, Elle Mulvaney, Tina O'Brien and the soap's expected returnee Lucy Fallon also joined in the fun and celebrations. And now Channique has taken to social media to thank fans for their support following her win.

She shared a string of different images - from posing for professional snaps with her awards to partying with her co-stars after the ceremony - and said: "A HUGE thank you to everyone who voted & to the @insidesoapmagazine team for a wonderful evening!"
