Coronation Street's Tina O'Brien says 'she doesn't like him' amid Sarah Platt backlash

Coronation Street star Tina O'Brien has addressed Sarah Platt's feelings for Daniel Osbourne after fans slammed her outburst. Viewers of the ITV soap saw Sarah devastated to learn her daughter was in intensive care after heading to Turkey for work.

It was Debbie Webster who told Bethany about the opportunity, telling her that a friend of hers is the CEO of a cosmetic surgery company and she was looking for someone to write an advertorial on their new facility in Turkey.

She initially turned it down but it was her boyfriend Daniel convinced her to change her mind. Bethany later flew to Istanbul but unbeknownst to her family, she decided to get surgery herself after she was left feeling insecure after seeing Daniel with his ex-fiancee Daisy Midgeley.

So Daniel was devasted to receive a phone call revealing Bethany was in intensive care. Rushing out to Turkey, Daniel discovered Bethany had sepsis after her surgery went disastrously wrong.

In Wednesday's (September 25) edition of the ITV soap, Sarah arrived to be by Bethany's side after a passport issue and she was quickly left horrified to learn from Daniel that Bethany's travel insurance policy wouldn't be valid because she hadn't disclosed she was getting surgery and that the hospital could keep her until her medical bills have been paid.

Sarah quickly turned against Daniel, blaming him for being busy with his ex Daisy while Bethany was trying to get ahold of him before her surgery. Daniel refused to betray Daisy's confidence by revealing what they'd discussed, which only wound Sarah up further as she discovered the true
