Coronation Street's Sally Carman distracts fans with co-star 'doppelganger' as she ditches UK

Coronation Street star Sally Carman-Duttine left fans distracted as she revealed she'd been enjoying some time in the sun of late. The actress ditched the UK for some R&R Greece after previous trips to Ibiza over the summer.

Taking to Instagram, Sally, who is known for playing Abi Webster in the ITV soap, shared a string of photos from her trip, with the first showing her chilling indoors with a glass of cool water as she appeared stylish in a white shirt tucked into a pair of wide-leg trousers and straw hat.

Other pictures showed the soap star relaxing in a red swimsuit in a hammock above an infinity pool before beaming as she got caught on camera, while another showed her chilling outside in the sun while sporting a leopard print swimsuit.

She captioned the sun-soaked post to her 154,000 followers: "Greece is the word #greece #warmsea #orangefeet #friedpotatoes #spotthehusband."

But it was one of the other photos that caught her followers' attention. It showed Sally smiling for the camera as she was serened in a restaurant on a guitar and a traditional Greek Bouzouki.

And it appears one of them reminded fans of someone close to home for Sally - her Corrie co-star Simon Gregson, who is famed for playing Steve McDonald in the long-running show.

Meanwhile, her Corrie co-stars and followers were quick to flood her with compliments and wish her well on her trip.
