Coronation Street's Samia Longhcambon says 'please' as she responds after heartbreaking twist in bullying storyline
Coronation Street star Samia Longchambon has responded to some of the soap's latest scenes as her latest storyline takes a heartbreaking turn. Viewers have at times been left in tears as they've watched Liam Connor be cruelly bullied by newcomer Mason Radcliffe.
The teen, played by Charlie Wrenshall, has been hiding what's been going on from his family and even got in trouble himself when he retaliated and shoved Dylan up against a wall at school and was caught by Mrs Crawshaw.
But his mum Maria Windass, played by Samia, resorted to catfishing to get to the bottom of what is going on. During Wednesday night's trip to the cobbles, Corrie fans saw Maria and her husband Gary Windass getting nowhere with the school as they had no proof of Liam being bullied by Mason and Dylan.

Taking matters into her own hands, Maira created a fake SendPx account and sent Liam a follow request. After he accepted the follow from 'Cleo', Maria scrolled through the comments on Liam’s account and she was both heartbroken and horrified by what she saw. She later confronted Liam who was annoyed by his mum's actions and later marched him to the school to show Mrs Crawshaw the messages.
He had deleted them all leaving Maria and Gary in despair and later, once back at home, Maria tried to comfort Liam, unaware he had just taken to the internet to find ways to take his own life. As she gave him a hot chocolate, she promised her son that it's 'not forever' and that it'd be OK, leaving them both sobbing in each other's arms.
