Coronation Street's Samia Longchambon says 'lovely to be back' as she's seen with famous husband

Coronation Street star Samia Longchambon said it was 'good to be back' as she was seen enjoying some ice skating with her famous husband, Sylvain.

Fans will know Sylvain for being one of the professional skaters on Dancing on Ice, recently competing with Emmerdale's Roxy Shahidi during the 2024 series earlier this year. And it was on the ITV show that he met Samia, who is famed for playing Maria Windass in the ITV's Corrie, back in 2013.

The rest, as they say, is history, as the couple got engaged after three years in 2016 and two months later, Samia revealed she was pregnant. Samia then gave birth to their first child together, son Yves, in 2015 before the couple married in 2016 at Delamere Manor in Cuddington, Cheshire.

Over the weekend, Samia returned to the rink with Sylvain and shared updates on social media. The soap star took a photo of her skates as she stood on the ice and said on her Instagram Story: "Hello old friend, it's been a while..."

She then posted a video of her in action as she impressively glided around the ice. "Not skated in over 5 years," Samia admitted alongside the clip. "Definitely not @dancingonice ready but managed a rusty six step," she continued before joking: "I look like I'm ready for take-off with my arms."

The mum-of-two also shared a selfie of herself and Sylvain, in which the pair could be seen grinning for the camera. "Lovely to be back on the ice with my pro @slongchambon," Samia gushed, adding a string of emojis including a winking face and a face surrounded by love hearts.
