Coronation Street's Lucy Fallon asked 'how' as she's supported by co-stars at baby shower ahead of second child's arrival

Coronation Street star Lucy Fallon was supported by her co-stars as she celebrated the impending arrival of her second child. The actress held her baby shower over the weekend as she and her boyfriend Ryan Ledson prepare to welcome baby number two.

Lucy, famed for playing Bethany Platt in the ITV soap, and Preston North End star Ryan announced over the summer that they were expecting baby number two with an adorable that featured their first child, son Sonny Jude.

In a video posted to both of their Instagram accounts, the couple are seen playing with their baby Sonny at their home. The video then switches to Lucy rubbing her burgeoning baby bump. Sonny is then seen playing with the sonography images of his new sibling.

Announcing the surprise news, she captioned the video: "Half way there". Lucy and Ryan later confirmed they were set to welcomed a baby girl into their growing family.

Now, as her arrival nears, Lucy gathered some of her loved ones together to celebrate Baby Ledson with a special baby shower. In a post shared with her 587,000 Instagram followers, the mum-of-two-to-be revealed that she “felt so lucky” to be able to mark the milestone in such a way.

Sharing a glimpse inside the special occasion, in one snap, Lucy could be seen placing a protective hand on her blossoming baby bump as she looked gorgeous while posing in a burgundy maxi dress with off-the-shoulder detailing which she wore with a pearl necklace and accessorised with a beaded clutched bag that was personalised with her name.
