Coronation Street's Claire Sweeney flooded with 'happy' observation after Ricky Hatton weekend washout

Claire Sweney had fans rushing to make the same observation about her and Ricky Hatton as they were able to find the fun in their weekend washout.

The Coronation Street star and her boxer legend beau headed to Preston over the weekend to enjoy BBC Radio 2 in the Park. They were able to watch performances from the likes of Gabrielle and Paul Heaton.

And it appears the couple had to embrace the rainy weather in the end with Ricky spotted wearing wellies as he made his way through the mud to the portable loos.

Taking to Instagram, Claire shared a video of pictures and clips she'd captured from her and Ricky's day at the festival on Saturday and said: "Brilliant day today @bbcradio2 in Preston. With @rickyhitmanhatton," before adding the Beautiful South track 'Perfect 10' to her footage.

And her fans and followers were quick to respond as they gushed over the couple, who had known each other for two decades before getting into a romantic relationship earlier this year after taking part in Dancing on Ice 2024.
