Coronation Street fans 'work out' who started Stefan's office fire as they mock blunder

Coronation Street fans think they have worked out who is behind the fire at Stefan Brent's office which came during the same day he had a fresh confrontation with Abi Webster.

Stefan found his way back into Abi's life recently, years after his son Corey was jailed for her son Seb Franklin's murder. She and her husband Kevin have been embroiled in an ongoing feud with the businessman after the former tried to put a stop to the documentary highlighting Corey as a football star while behind bars.

Abi was later left horrified when videos started circulating online of her seemingly as part of a sex tape. However, she later realised it wasn't her in the clips and that they were deep fakes.

She initially thought it was her former drug dealer, Dean, who was behind it after she refused to help him with money. However, the finger of blame has since been pointed at Stefan, whose production company was behind the documentary, and despite reporting him to the police, there was nothing they could do.

Viewers recently saw Kevin break into Stefan's office to obtain evidence that he was behind the deepfakes, stealing a burner phone. After coming to a deal, Stefan agreed to pay to take down the videos, but after learning it would cost £60k annually, he backed out leaving Abi and Kevin back at square one.

During Monday night's (July 29) trip to Weatherfield, Kevin and Abi were upset to discover Jack was being teased over the videos, forcing them to explain what had been going on and who they believed was behind it.
