Coronation Street fans 'work out' Becky twist after Lisa Swain discovery and say 'they've known all along'

Coronation Street fans think DS Lisa Swain's latest discovery about her late partner will lead to what really happened to Becky. It was earlier this year that viewers discovered that Lisa's late partner was killed in the line of duty.

The pair share a daughter, Betsy, and it's been clear that Lisa and the teen's relationship hasn't been perfect since Becky's death. But fans of the ITV soap are now seeing Lisa tentitively embark on a new romance with Carla Connor, which caught Betsy off-guard.

But Becky's death looks set to continue haunting both Lisa and Betsy as new details seemingly came to light. During Wednesday night's (November 27) episode of Corrie, viewers saw Lisa spending the night by Carla's bedside willing her to wake up after she was hit over the head during a break in at the factory.

As viewers know, Betsy was seen trying to help pal Mason Radcliffe by getting his brothers, Matty and Logan, off his back as they start to spread their terrorisation across the street.

She told Mason that his troublesome brothers were no longer a concern due to a deal she had made with them. It was later revealed that Betsy had set it up so that the brothers could burgle the knicker factory in exchange for leaving Mason alone.

But the brothers ended up attacking Carla, who was rushed to hospital and had to have surgery to stop a bleed on her brain, leaving her loved ones worried sick. However, within the blink of an eye, Carla seemingly appeared on the mend, even managing to have a joke with Roy Cropper about her feelings for Lisa.
