Cooper: Armagh firepower could deliver Ulster title

The development of the Armagh attack means the Orchard County could end their long wait for an Ulster title this year, according to Colm Cooper.

Having seen off Antrim and Cavan, Kieran McGeeney's side will now face either Down or Donegal for a place in a provincial final.

Armagh’s record in Ulster in recent years has been dismal and you have to go back to 2008 for the last time they claimed the Anglo-Celt Cup, but former Kerry forward Cooper says the improvements in their attack is key to their ambitions this year.

"Conor Turbitt showed today, and he showed in the last number of games that he can be the score-getter inside, and I think Andrew Murnin is the perfect foil for him.

"If they continue to get a spread of scorers they are going to be right in the mix."

"They have definitely done a fair bit of work on their offensive play," the two-time All-Star said.

"You could see when Rory Grugan was getting on the ball, he wanted runners to come out and create the space and allow them
