Conor McGregor's new training footage showcases 'the shots nightmares are made of'

Conor McGregor has released yet another training video ahead of his potential return to UFC following his break from the sport after his defeat against American Dustin Poirier last summer.

McGregor, whose last fight against Poirier was on 11, July 2021, ended in just the first round as the Irishman suffered a severe leg injury.

The video, captioned “The shots nightmares are made of”, was posted on his @TheNotoriousMMA Twitter account and has already amassed 300,000 views after just five hours.

The fight against Poirier was the final in a trilogy of fights, with McGregor winning their first bout and the American walking away with the final two.

Oliveira has been champion since May 2021, following a title fight against Michael Chandler.

However, McGregor may be looking to secure his wealth, with an offer from YouTuber Jake Paul still on the cards.

Paul, 25, offered the UFC superstar $50 million for a boxing match back in December 2020.

He accused the Irishman of being scared to fight him, saying: “You’re ducking me because you don’t want
