Henry Cejudo has admitted Conor McGregor is likely to beat him to a shot at winning a third UFC title after confirming his own comeback plans.
McGregor is currently preparing to make a UFC comeback later this year and is planning to switch to 170lb in a bid to conquer a third weight class. Meanwhile Cejudo recently announced his intentions to return to the octagon and is planning to beat his rival to the chance at winning a trio of titles.
Cejudo believes he is capable of defeating Volkanovski but believes "blue-eyed devil" McGregor will be considered first by the promotion's president Dana White. "[Alexander Volkanovski's] only a couple inches taller than me," Cejudo told ESPN MMA. 'It's a very winnable fight and I love the fact that I could become the first division champ.
"Because we all know, America's sweetheart, you know, Conor McGregor, that blue-eyed devil, you know, Dana White, you know, he's gonna be the first one to get that crack at the three belts. But man, this one's gonna be earned this was earned for me."
