Conor McGregor reacts angrily to hat being thrown at him

Conor McGregor hasn’t stepped foot in the Octagon since last July when he lost against Dustin Poirier in the third fight of their trilogy.

The Irishman broke his leg and has only just returned to full training after the horror injury. It’s been a long road to recovery, but one that has a clear end in sight.

It continued a poor run of form for Notorious who had lost three of his last four fights prior to his time away, so he’ll be coming back refreshed, ready to set the record straight and revive his career.

He’s been sharing plenty of clips of his training regime, showing him getting back to his best and being allowed to kick again.

His next opponent hasn’t yet been named, with rumours flying about over his next move in the Octagon, it’s only natural for that to happen with one of the biggest names in the sport.

We recently saw Paddy Pimblett defend the Irishman during an episode of The Overlap with Gary Neville, saying: “I reckon he’s going to come back at the end of the year. I think he gets a lot of disrespect and it does my head in. Without him, a lot of MMA wouldn’t be on what they are.

“Here’s an example, if it wasn’t for Conor McGregor, you wouldn’t be sat here with us now doing this because he’s the one who made this sport global. Conor took it to a new level and that’s why I think no one gives him the credit he deserves.”

Whilst we wait to see who his next opponent is, he’s been enjoying himself still, partying in the summer and enjoying the warm weather.

Unfortunately, as such a huge name and recognisable figure, it’s difficult for McGregor to go under the radar in public situations, add that to drunk people partying, it will likely end in disaster.
