Conor McGregor leg break: UFC star watching his injury on big screen

We have seen plenty of versions of the great Conor McGregor, but the one we saw the last time he was in the Octagon was something else.

Yes, you’ve got it right. It is when he took on Dustin Poirier in what was his second fight with the American last year. 

There was real belief that McGregor would avenge his loss to Poirier earlier in the year, however, before he could do anything, he was looking at a broken left leg with just about everyone who was watching in disbelief.

And McGregor himself was shellshocked, as you can see in the video further down this article – if you do have the emotional strength to do so, that is. 

However, moments after he watched his freak injury on the big screen, The Notorious had his former self back – no one expected any less, really.

That is when he gave his iconic, albeit controversial, post-fight interview.

“I was boxing the bleeding hell off him. Kicking the bleeding leg off him… This is not over. If we have to take this outside for him, it’s all outside. I don’t give a b*******,” he told Joe Rogan.

“There was no check,” McGregor added. “There was not one of them that was checked. Your wife is in my DMs, hey baby, hit me back up, I’ll chat with you later on. I’ll be at the afterparty. You little h**, f*** him.”

There were many who were angry at Rogan for taking the interview. He, however, revealed it was the Irishman who asked for it.

“People are like, ‘why did you interview him?’ He actually brought me over. He goes ‘come over here lad, let’s have a podcast’.
