Congestion all over Wales and strong winds reduce traffic to a crawl on bridges: Live Easter Monday exodus updates
It's Easter Monday, April 10, and thousands of people are experiencing delays and congestion as they travel home after a few glorious bank holiday weekend days.
There are delays and heavy congestion on the M4 heading eastbound from J22 to J19 after a collision involving several vehicles. The lanes have since re-opened and the delay has reduced significantly to 20 minutes.
There are currently temporary speed limits in place on the Briton Ferry Bridge and Prince of Wales Bridge, with the matrix set to 30mph due to strong winds. Traffic monitoring system Inrix reports restrictions at the Severn Bridge and traffic now coming off at J2 or West at J1, around the roundabouts and back on to cross the bridge, which remains open.
