CONFIRMED | Who and where SA sides will play in QFs of Champions, Challenge Cups

There are two South African sides through to the quarter-finals for the European Champions Cup, and both will be away from home in their respective fixtures on Saturday.

The Sharks, who beat Munster 50-35 on Saturday, will take on Toulouse in France while the Stormers, who beat Harlequins 32-28 in Cape Town, will play Exeter Chiefs at Sandy Park. 

While both are difficult assignments, the Sharks have a particularly tough ask against the most decorated side in the history of the Champions Cup and the side currently top of the French Top 14 log. 

Toulouse smashed the Bulls 33-9 on Sunday to secure their clash against the Sharks. 

Times for the fixtures are yet to be confirmed.

The Lions, meanwhile, have progressed to the quarter-finals of the Challenge Cup after an impressive 51-28 win over Racing 92 on Saturday. 

They will now take on Glasgow Warriors, away from home, next weekend.
