Coleen Nolan breaks silence with 'unseen' footage after sister Linda's funeral

Coleen Nolan paid a heartfelt tribute to her sister Linda Nolan on Instagram on Sunday (February 2) after attending her funeral on Saturday.

The Loose Women star was joined by loved ones as she attended the funeral of Linda Nolan. It was held at St Paul’s Church in Blackpool on Saturday morning, with a large crowd of family members, friends and fans gathered outside the church to pay their respects to the star, who died at the age of 65 on January 15.

Her passing came after a lengthy battle with cancer, and Linda's pink, sparkly coffin was carried into church by Coleen's son's Shane and Jack. Coleen and her sisters who formed The Nolans pop group in the 70s.

Taking to her Instagram, Coleen wrote: "Yesterday, we said a heartbreaking goodbye to my sister Linda for the last time, and it was a truly beautiful send-off.

"A couple of weeks ago, I came across an unreleased recording of Linda singing ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow’ and I wanted to share it with you all alongside some cherished old photos and videos. Thank you all for your continued support, love Col xx"

Fans and friends flocked to the comments to show their love, with Loose Women co-host Judi Love commenting: "This is so beautiful" and Saira Khan echoed: "Beautiful, just like she was."
